How to use a diffuser?
They are extremely easy to use.
Remove the bung in the top of the bottle
Unscrew the collar
Pop in the reeds and give them a little swirl
Turn the reeds over so the damp end is now at the top
Spread the reeds apart.

What's the best place to put a reed diffuser?
The air will help circulate the scent of the fragrance, so it's best to place it in a high traffic area that will help move the scent around, such as an entrance or hallway.
Try and keep reed diffusers out the way from any direct sunlight as the oils will evaporate quickly. Avoid placing them near air conditioning units or near a door that leads outside where the fragrance will get lost. We also recommend avoiding placing them near to anything warm, like a radiator, as the warmth can also cause the fragrance to evaporate more quickly.
How does a diffuser disperse scent around a room?
One of reed diffusers come with 7 natural coloured fibre reeds. There are various types of reeds on the market including rattan and bamboo.
Here at Beatrice & Lilly we decided to use fibre reeds over any other make as they 'tend' to clog less frequently compared to other reeds such as rattan. They also give an excellent aesthetic to our overall product.
The reeds will absorb the fragrance oil from the bottle and will spread through the entire reed from top to bottom, thus giving a beautiful fragrance that fills the atmosphere.
If you feel you want a more stronger scent, use more reeds. You can purchase spare reeds from us here is needed. The same with if you want a softer scent, remove some reeds.
Refresh and replenish
Once all of the fragrance oil has been used. Wash your bottle with warm soapy water and dry. Make sure the bottle is completely dry before you refill with new oil.
We always recommend using a fresh new set of reeds when you refresh your diffuser oil.
